We wished to Include in this forum, a few details about individuals we mentioned in this forum. What else would anyone do but GOOGLE <"barry thompson" townsville>. What should we find but
Barry Thompson, Past Rotary International Treasurer, and the 35th Rotary Institute - Townsville 24-26 November 2000.
People seem to join Rotary International when they wish to be perceived as wonderful people, which gives sales people a 'shoe in the door'. Mr Hanky's [that's Hugh McVean's] friend who was named Barry Thompson, was a refrigerator salesman at NORQEB in Townsville, during part of the time 1967 to 1978. Lowlife politicians are also attracted to Rotary International. Of course, lowlife Mr Hanky Hughie, Hugh McVean, joined Rotary International in 1978 in Nambour, when he started his own business which of course needed sales. Hypocritically, Hugh McVean and Coral McVean also joined a Nambour church; that would not detract from sales, either, thought Mr Hanky, no doubt. What do you think of Hughie's suppository joke?
