complaint of criminal conduct of Hugh McVean of Nambour, adversely
affecting my sister and Mother, to the officer in Charge of Nambour

Report of Criminal behaviour by Hugh McVean of 225 Windsor Road,
Nambour.

They are all [3 of them] letters from Butler McDermott and Egan
[BME]. As they are crooked/corrupt/criminal solicitors, I
do not want to give them publicity so I have concealed their identity
on my website – except for the three pages to which I will refer you,
as there will not be a link to those letters as pdf (2 as pdf and one
as .jpg– I do not want big files up there as it costs me for you to

A note re the most recent letter I named BME3: I visited Mum at
their home on Friday, 25th August, 2006, not the 19th as per the
letter. I am wondering about the significance of that
error. That Friday, Mum had just been down to Brisbane to see a
Doctor about her eye. I had a witness with me the whole
time I was there. BME state that I entered without consent, but
infact, I had implied consent to enter, per the 1984 High Court case of
Halliday v Nevill.
Hugh could not have done any of the wrongs he has done without his
reliance upon BME. They have seriously breached professional
standards. Professional standards are in place to protect the
public. Discipline is publicly stated to support the public’s
confidence in the legal system as admission to the supreme court is the
manner that lawyers can practice and earn a living. For BME to
have so often breached prof standards for/with Hughie, they must be
dong it regularily, so they have probably come to the notice of Nambour
Police prior to this.
Hugh McVean is a pharmacist. He has used this knowledge for
criminal purposes. Before I realised his criminal nature, I was
twice poisoned at their home. I ate there seldom.
Hughie [he doesn’t like that name as it reminds him, he says, of a duck
– one of Donald Duck’s nephews]. The earlier occasion of
poisoning occurred when I ate with them at their previous home in
Canmaroo Court. While still eating at the table I started feeling
hot and faint. I believe this was mercury poisoning.
Immediately upon my commenting about feeling ill, Hughie pipes up that
it must be the zucchinis. However, no-one else felt ill and the
zucchinis were all cut up and mixed with a sauce so everyone would have
received some of any suspect zucchini. The second occasion
happened in early 2003. I ate at their home and soon after, I
vomited violently. Hugh was quick to suggest that it must have
been something I picked up at my parents’ place as the time it takes
for something like that [like what I ask] to cause vomiting is the
better part of a day he reckoned. I so very rarely vomit.
If I eat something that disagrees with me, it will give me dysentery
always.
Mum and Dad often ate at the McVeans’. As a pharmacist, Hughie
also provided all of their medications. Dad was awake to Hughie
from day one. [Dad just thought he was sly and shifty and not
trustworthy, but I am sure Dad never suspected Hugh of his criminal
behaviour]. Over the years, Dad had many health problems
which I now realise are indicative of mercury poisoning.
Dad died of a primary liver cancer. Such, as a primary cancer, is
predominantly caused by mercury poisoning. Hugh ensured
that Dad’s body was cremated. Hugh also ensured that all of
my parents’ medication was destroyed too. Hughie would not
have done any of these without the legal backup of BME.
With the assistance of BME, Hugh has fabricated fraudulent documents
and had them introduced into court as bona fide documents. He has had
Coral sign documents and had Mum “witness” their signatures, and also
“witness” MY SIGNATURE when I was not there and when I had not signed
that document. This was about 1994 before Mum lost her sight.
Mum had an operation on her eye recently. It went well.
Within a few day, it inexplicably self destructed permanently and Mum
lost complete sight in that eye. Hughie supplied the “medication”
that Mum was using on that eye. It is important for Hughie
to have people around him dependant upon him; the more so the better.
Hughie wants to isolate Mum from me as much as possible. I used
to phone Mum and Dad nightly. Coral and Hugh often expressed
dislike for my doing that. After Dad died, I was phoning Mum
nightly. Hughie disliked this, in his inimitable way, he would
put on a grumpy turn, and so, in an effort to please Hughie, Mum had to
have me reduce the frequency of calls: to only twice a week, and then
only once a week, and then never as Mum was told that she would phone
me. [Mum has no bargaining chips. She and Coral have to do what
is necessary to keep Hughie happy, or Mum will be shipped off to a
home.] I last phoned in 2005. Since then, Mum has
phoned me on 20 March, 2006 [to wish me happy birthday for the 21st ],
30 June, 2006 and the 1st August, 2006. I would not go
unaccompanied to Hugh’s place. On the 25 August, I was with a
friend at Bald Hills and he was prepared to go with me to see
Mum. I have two assistance dogs [11.8kg and 4.3kg], as
provided for by the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) [DDA].
They go with me everywhere. Queensland Rail has stuffed me about re
taking my assist dogs on trains. I do not have independent
transport.
Hugh knows that this letter from BME [BME2] will effectively prevent my
going to see Mum.
When I visited on 25th August, 2006, Hughie would not leave the room
when I was with Mum. He was worried at what Mum might say to
me. MY witness commented on this later.
Hugh is a dishonest, devious and conniving psychopath. He
has his home computer up a narrow flight of stairs on a small mezzanine
floor in their lounge room. It is his province solely.
Coral is forbidden to go there, or use the computer. No-one else
is permitted to go up those stairs. I suspect he has KIDDIE PORN
on his computer.

/. BME are crooks but that is clearly what Hughie
wants. I am fully trained as a lawyer with an LLB. The
first two letters in date sequence relate to work they ostensibly did
for my parents: formation of enduring power of Attorneys [EPOA] for
each of my parents in my favour and in favour of Coral [and Coral would
do whatever Hugh wanted], and in early 2003, BME also performed legal
services for my parents of drafting and completion of their
wills. They mislead my father as to the effect of the
wills. Regardless of that, both of those services were Conflicts
of Duty and Duty [codad]. Codad is outlawed as it is a harbinger
of fraud, so it is not necessary to show fraud for codad to be
Professional Misconduct or Unprofessional Conduct.

You can see in relation to the EPOA, BME wanted the documents
back. That had the effect of preventing my using the EPOA I had
for my parents. This was always Hugh’s desire.
Hugh is a real con-man. He works on Coral, and now also my mother
and has each of them work on the other, “I am doing this for your
benefit. You see that don’t you.” Have a look at my website “An

dealing with the council, “My position in the family, my wife’s
family, I have to try and help out, and then everyone take advantage of
me, yadda yadda yadda”.
Mum is blind and aged 89 years. Coral is not too bright
which I evidence below. Mum is afraid of being placed in a
home. Coral loves Mum, as do I. Hugh threatens them both
that he will separate them and put Mum in a home. He has actually
had Mum put in a home for a few weeks and gone away with Coral just to
show them what can await them.
Hugh is married to my sister. I have known him since 1967.
I had always thought he was odd. Dad was awake to him but never
wanted to have fights. I now realise that Hugh’s behaviour then
was his being devious, and dishonest. He very much wishes to
control everyone and everything he can. He tried to con my
parents into selling up their home, at Mapleton and building [at Mum
and Dad’s cost with the proceeds] on one of his blocks adjoining
McVeans’ home [just a few kilometres away], so he would control them
and their home and own it and be able to put them in a home when he
wanted to do that. My father was disgusted. Hugh tried this
on at my parents’ home at Mapleton, in their kitchen and my father just
got up and left the room.
My sister is not the sharpest knife in the kitchen. She is prepared to
have Hughie in control most of the time as it is easier for her.
She and Mum feel they have no alternative. They are trying to
make the best of what they have and do what ever pleases Hughie.
In my opinion, formed from knowing Hugh for over 39 years and Coral for
longer, I state, Coral is under undue influence [UI] from Hugh.
In my opinion, formed from knowing Hugh for over 39 years and Coral for
longer, I state, Dishonesty by Hugh is involved in his influence over
Coral.
In my opinion, formed from knowing Hugh for over 39 years and Coral for
longer, I state, Both Coral and Hugh work on my mother to have her
decide what Hugh wants.
In my opinion, formed from knowing Hugh for over 39 years and talking
to my Mother, I state, Hugh also works on Mum to have her influence
Coral.
Although Hugh is not especially intelligent, he has intellectual
ascendancy over Coral.
In my opinion, formed from knowing Hugh for over 39 years, I state,
Hugh has a manipulating and conniving nature and personality.
Hugh prides himself that he is old fashioned in that he makes all the
financial decisions in his family.
In my opinion, formed from knowing Hugh for over 39 years and Coral for
longer and talking to my mother, I state, This decision to gift my
mother’s money to Hugh’s children was Hugh’s decision.
Throughout primary school, Coral was in the bottom half of her class.
Coral failed her Junior Public Exam in 1961.
Our parents, especially our father, was determined that Coral should
gain the best education she could.
Our parents paid for Coral to attend a private secondary school in
Queensland.
Coral repeated the full year for Grade eleven, also called Sub Senior
year.
Coral was also placed into private classes and lessons for Speech and
Drama [SD].
It is fact that, without the extra grade Coral received in SD for
Senior, she would not have received a Teachers’ Scholarship.
In my opinion, that Coral received Training to become a teacher, and
that the quality of her life since has been far improved on what she
could otherwise have expected, is a credit to, and largely an
achievement of our parents, especially our father.
Hugh became involved in our family only because Coral thought he looked
like Paul Newman when she had a crush on Paul Newman, when Coral was
aged 20 years of age.
In my expert opinion as an accountant and LLB graduate, and formed from
knowing Hugh for over 39 years and Coral for longer, I state, that Hugh
has had some success in business, as a Pharmacist, is a result more of
his being in the highly protected industry of Retail Pharmacy, that to
any business acumen on his part.
In my expert opinion as an accountant and LLB graduate, and formed from
knowing Hugh for over 39 years, Hugh has little business or legal
ability.
In my expert opinion as an accountant and LLB graduate, and formed from
knowing Hugh for over 39 years Hugh would want others to believe he has
substantial business and legal prowess.
Hugh has had mortgage security support from my parents to assist him
achieve in business.
It is fact that Hugh has resorted to the excuse of his being a “novice
landlord” to excuse poor business decisions on his part.
When I advised Hugh, in early 2005, that he owed me a fiduciary duty
[FD], he asked me how to spell it as he wrote it down, apparently, so
as to ask his solicitor Butler McDermott and Egan [BME].
On numerous occasions when I have expressed to Hugh that a particular
legal position existed, he has stated that he would obtain advice on
that.
In my expert opinion as an accountant and LLB graduate, and formed from
knowing Hugh for over 39 years, Hugh is greatly reliant upon BME for
legal advice.
This has extended to BME purporting to act for my parents for the
purpose of drafting and having endorsed Enduring Power of Attorney
[EPOA] documents for them, in 2002 and their wills in 2003, when all
that time and for a long period prior to that, BME owed Hugh a
Fiduciary Duty [FD] as a client all that time.
Both, EPOA and Wills, for both of my parents. all four in fact, were
breaches of Professional Standards by BME.
In my expert opinion as an accountant and LLB graduate and formed from
knowing Hugh for over 39 years, BME clearly viewed their FD to Hugh as
Superior.
In my expert opinion as an accountant and LLB graduate, and formed from
knowing Hugh for over 39 years, and talking with my mother regularly,
since my mother has been living with Coral and Hugh, they have been
working on my mother to turn her against me with lies.
My mother has told me many false facts that she has been told by Hugh
and/or Coral that I can prove are false.
When Coral married Hugh in July, 1969, at the age of 22 years, she wore
an off white wedding gown made for her by my mother VM.
I am told and truly believe that Coral could not wear the Traditional
Virginal White Wedding Gown as she was not a virgin.
I am told and truly believe that prior to Coral’s marriage to Hugh,
Hugh was boasting around Townsville that he was having sex with Coral.
Coral was then distressed and devastated when Hugh decided that they
should have a ‘Trial Separation”.
Hugh was doing this to determine the extent to which he could
manipulate Coral.
His relationship with Coral has always been one of manipulation.
At that time, Hugh had a put-down “joke” [ a put down of Coral and our
parents] by repeatedly asking how much “dowry” he would receive for
marrying Coral.
That was a put-down of Coral by suggesting he would have to be paid a
dowry to be prepared to marry Coral. It was a further put-down of
Coral by suggesting the dowry would have to be so large to marry Coral
that my parents could not afford it.
That was a further putdown of my parents by suggesting they were too
impoverished to pay a dowry.
There could be no reason for such an act as this dowry “joke” than to
denigrate Coral and our parents. There is no positive
aspect to it.
Hugh persisted with this dowry line ad nauseum.
Coral and my mother would just give nervous laughs and banter.
I suggest that Hugh persisted with this offence because it gave him a
sense of power that he could offend Coral and our parents with
immunity, and Coral and our Mother were, or appeared to be, too thick
to see he was being highly offensive.
At that time Coral was a not unattractive red-headed 20, 21 year old
who was extremely well presented. Coral spoke very well, having
studied Speech and Drama for nine years or so. Coral was
also a professional in the workforce. Coral was a trained School
Teacher. With the experience of being a School teacher,
Coral was always well composed. Coral had, and has so much going
for her. Having above average intelligence is not everything.
In my opinion, this desire to give himself a sense of power has always
been Hugh’s approach and motivation.
I my opinion, the best thing Hugh has had going for him was and
is having Coral as his wife, and my parents as his in-laws.
Hugh has always practiced a “confrontationist mirth” towards my parents.
One ploy Hugh uses regularly is that Hugh repeatedly reassures people,
he is doing things for those other people’s benefit, and to help them,
when all the time such is just a way of conning them.
He has tried that one on with me, when in fact he was setting out to
cheat me.
Hugh has shown always this feigned exasperated and cavalier contempt
for Coral and our parents, and me.
I have now re-accessed earlier incidents in light of the realisation
that Hugh is evil.
In my expert opinion as an accountant and LLB graduate, and formed from
knowing Hugh for over 39 years, I now realize that Hugh is a psychopath.
When we were in Townsville, not long after I had my debilitating head
injury on 25 November, 1967, Hugh had a speed boat. I think this
was about 1969, 1970 or 1971. At that time I was clearly very
much gar-gar, vulnerable and clearly “not a full quid”.
One day, in about 1969, 1970 or 1971 when Hugh and Coral and some of
his friends including Barry Stanton, were going out to water ski, they
invited me, reluctantly, I suspect as I asked repeatedly to go for a
ski. The boat was being used on the Strand in Townsville.
They, unlike me at the time, were all very aware and wary of the enema
type affect of sliding into the water feet first when being towed along
by the speed boat. This was especially serious for women and so
when ever a female was to water ski, they, our party, had special tight
weave shorts for the women to wear. I did not realise why the
women there were putting on this particular pair of shorts before they
would ski.
When it came time for my turn, Hugh was in his boat. I am
unsure of who was driving. It matters not. I was most closely
“related” to Hugh. It was his boat. I was there because of
him. Hugh was in the boat.
Many times as I was initially up on the water on the skis, the boat
would slow down and I would fall back into the water feet first. The
boat did not stop in an instant, but rather continued for a time
dragging me through the water. I was trying each time to rise out
of the water, but the boat kept slowing. Eventually, it would
slow to the point that I would fall to one side or the other and have
to let go of the tow rope.
When one water skis, the skier’s initial position, before the boat
begins to pull, is to sit in the water with one’s knees under one’s
chin. As the boat gains speed, the skis begin to plane on the water and
the skier then extends their legs and stands on the skis. It was
only after I had tried to stand, that the boat would slow down, but not
stop immediately, so I was forced back into the water but still dragged
along.
This happened five or six times, before I was permitted to stay up on
the skis and the boat went along the full length of the strand. I
did not realise what had been happening. No apology, for what I
thought at the time was just poor operation, was offered to me by
anyone. I am sure it must have been very funny for them all
including Hugh, as they and anyone with any experience of skiing would
have known. That was also unconscionable conduct upon the part of
Hugh and whoever was driving the boat because they knew that I was
still very sick, disabled and vulnerable having not recovered from my
severe head injury on 25 November, 1967. I suspect that
Hugh was driving as it was Hugh’s boat. I believe only Hugh
would have had the gall to do that to me.
In fact, I am sure that everyone in the party would have known what was
happening to me as they were all experienced water skiers, and all the
women were alerted to these effects of being pulled through the water
as they each donned the tight weave shorts.
I do not believe it, the enema affect, was accidental. It did not
happen to anyone else in our group, or any other group of which I was
aware. I had nothing else to do at that time to occupy my time
other than to watch the people in our group water ski, and other people
who were water skiing.
This enema affect was not caused by anything I was doing or omitting to
do. It was caused by solely the operator of the tow boat.
I was immediately very sick with diarrhoea. I excavated
myself into the seawater. I was still very sick and went up to
the toilet at a lawn bowling club on the strand. At that time I was
unaware of the cause for my distress. In the toilet, I
still felt very sick although I could not evacuate anymore, having
already fully evacuated, although I felt I needed to evacuate still.
Other boats were also skiing on the Strand that day. I gained an
idea of what had happened to me, but not that it had been deliberate
shortly afterwards. Another skier in another boat’s party, came
off in spectacular fashion and went feet first into the water at
speed. Barry Stanton shouted out in a loud gaffaw fashion,
“Enema, Enema, ha ha ha, (gafffaw)”. It has been only
lately when I think back on this incident, in light of Hugh’s recent
proven conduct, that I realise this was done deliberately, and as
Hugh’s action or at least with his agreement.
Over the years since, I have done much on many occasions to help Coral
and Hugh.
